As a part of GoI initiative Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan, Indian Navy performed Coastal Cleanup actions on 1 Aug 2023 at numerous components in Visakhapatnam. Greater than 750 Service and Defence Civilians from ENC participated. The realm coated for clear up included Yarada, RamKrishna, Jalaripeta, Thotlakonda, VudaPark to East Level Gentle seashores. ️The goal of the cleanup actions is to create consciousness amongst the native communities on clear seas for secure seas. Different water our bodies within the metropolis together with Meghadripeta River Channel, YardEstate and Harbour waters inside Naval Dockyard have been too cleaned up. Approx 1100 Kg of non-biodegradable wastes have been collected and disposed off safely.
