VISAKHAPATNAM: Forty-eight hours after saying a Rs 20 entry charge at Rushikonda seaside, the State authorities has withdrawn its resolution following protests from numerous quarters.Minister for Industries and IT Gudivada Amarnath on Sunday introduced that there will likely be no entry charge for the seaside.
He defined, “The choice to gather the entry charge was taken for creating and sustaining the Rushikonda seaside because it has been accorded the blue flag certification. Nevertheless, the federal government has now determined to bear the expenditure for infrastructure services.”
The Seaside Administration Committee on Friday had introduced that guests must pay Rs 20 as entry charge from July 11. The entry charge additionally included Rs 10 being collected for utilization of washrooms.
The committee maintained that the choice to gather the entry charge was taken to generate extra income for supporting the maintenance of the seaside for the vacationers.
