SYDNEY: Australian police stated Wednesday they had been scouring seashores after mysterious packages believed to include greater than 120 kilograms (260 kilos) of cocaine washed up over the Christmas interval.
A primary batch of 39 barnacle-encrusted, one-kilogram bricks of suspected cocaine was found on Friday close to Magenta Seaside, north of Sydney, police stated.
Since then, one other 85 packages of the identical measurement had been noticed alongside about 80 kilometres (50 miles) of the New South Wales shoreline, state police stated.
